Having appropriate safety gear is a must while riding a used UTV. Helmets are the first and most important piece of equipment anyone can have when riding. Make sure you have a DOT-rated helmet that protects the faces on any and all riders on the used UTV. You can use Motocross helmets, as they are breathable, lightweight and offer the needed protection when in an open-air vehicle. Following this tip, you'll need a pair of gloves, a long sleeve shirt, full-length pants and closed-toe shoes (preferably boots). Be sure to wear it all, and you'll be safer for it.
